Our policy
This web site has been developed to help ensure that the content is available to a wide audience by adhering to recommendations and guidelines for accessible web design where possible.

Content

Where possible we provide an accessible version of the web site that is compliant
with the latest standards based browsers. Where flash or javascript have been used
we offer alternate versions for users without this technology.
- Where appropriate we have used pictures and symbols in addition to text.
- Text can be resized in many browsers.
- Where possible use of 'pop up windows' have been avoided.
Coding and production
- Content is left aligned where possible.
- Text can be resized in many browsers.
- Alternate content is provided for users with javascript turned off or users without
flash installed.
Technical
- Knight Frank test the site in major standard compliant web browsers.
- We author most of our pages to W3C recommendations including XHTML 1.0 Transitional
and Cascading Style Sheets.
Design
- We ensure that there is sufficient contrast between text colour and background colour.
- Provide clear and consistent navigation.
- Chosen and used consistent web safe font.
- Avoided blinking text and images.
